Project Manager

• Oversee the electrical design, programming, definition of technical characteristics and the start-up of various projects;
• Meet project deadlines and within the established deadlines;
• Manage resources, engineers, and technicians on the various projects under its responsibility;
• Act as a mentor and motivator toward corporate resources;
• Develop and maintain business relations to ensure the success of projects and of the business;
• Manage plant projects;
• Analyze problems and identify solutions with the client using a variety of innovative and existing methods techniques, and conduct comparative studies;
• Perform all steps on engineering projects (from estimation to completion);
• Prepare plans, estimates and detailed engineering deliverables (e/s, loping and engine command diagrams, cable and instrument lists, etc.);
• Draft project-specific technical documentation;
• Measure client satisfaction and maintain business relations with clients;
• Provide technical assistance during construction work;
• Conduct inspections, site checks and technical surveys;
• Participate in start-ups.
• Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
• Strong project management, technical writing and compex problem-solving skills in an independent manner;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant project management of processes or any other relevant experience;
• Excellent knowledge of IT, client systems and process networking;
• Work experience in various automation sectors (asset);
• Experience in HMI, DCS automation programming in various programming languages (asset);
• Knowledge of Wonderware, Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, Siemens Simatic (asset);
• A very good command of French and good working knowledge of English (written and spoken), and effective oral and written communication;
